A wise soul once said “Hope shines brightest in the darkest moments.”  We couldn’t agree with it more!

As you know, we are facing a heroin opioid epidemic unlike any other.  You’ve seen the tragic headlines and witness the alarming rate of overdoses across the country.  Legislators and politicians have largely turned a blind eye to it…

Amidst such darkness, a group of simple yet caring citizens, many of whom have experienced first hand the cataclysmic effects of the disease of addiction, are banding together to do something about the opioid crisis.

This is the story behind HopeFest.  It is a rallying cry created by the people, a movement galvanized by victims and families of a dreaded disease that society is currently too powerless to overcome.

Our message is simple.  We will bring the fight against opioids through unity, love and hope.  We will shout from the roof tops to declare just how insidious the disease of addiction is, but NOT its victims.  We will memorialize the victims and ensure their silent voices are now represented.  We will stand together – through music and poetry, art and inspiration, encounters and stories – to foster hope, healing and change so that someday…the darkness of addiction shall be obliterated from the face of the earth.

Please join us for this auspicious event which takes place in Lake Worth on Sunday September 10th, 2017.
